Ethos Building Group is seeking an experienced Lead Remodeling Technician for residential remodeling projects throughout the South Bay area.
We are looking for a highly skilled, well-rounded remodeling professional who can work independently and perform a wide variety of construction tasks from demolition through final completion. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally, and can solve problems on site with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Framing and carpentry• Demolition and job site preparation• Drywall installation, patching, and repairs• Interior and exterior painting• Flooring installation (LVP, laminate, tile, and hardwood)• Tile installation and repairs• Shower and bathtub installation• Shower door installation• Interior and exterior door installation• Window installation• Baseboard, casing, crown molding, and finish trim• Cabinet installation• Plumbing fixture installation and repairs• Punch-list and final completion items• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site• Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members
Requirements:
- 5+ years of residential remodeling experience• Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and general remodeling• Ability to complete tasks without constant supervision• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail• Reliable transportation• Own hand tools and basic power tools• Ability to read plans and perform accurate measurements• Must be dependable, motivated, and quality-focused
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical experience• HVAC experience• Experience leading crews or managing small projects• Experience with permit and inspection processes
Pay: $30–40 per hour DOE
