Position Overview: The Beverage Bottling Lead is to oversee the daily operation of our beverage alcohol bottling line. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for directing a small production team while actively operating, troubleshooting, and improving the bottling process.
This role is essential in ensuring that the bottling process operates efficiently, safely, and with the highest level of quality, contributing to the smooth flow of production and timely delivery of finished products. The Beverage Bottling Lead plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the product while adhering to all operational and safety standards.
The successful candidate will spend much of the day on the production floor leading by example, ensuring safe operations, maintaining product quality, and meeting production goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Lead and supervise a production team of 3–4 employees during daily bottling operations.
o Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
o Operate and oversee bottling, capping, labeling, case packing, and palletizing equipment.
o Perform equipment setup, changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
o Ensure products meet quality standards through in-process inspections and documentation.
o Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation standards, and safe work practices.
o Train and coach production employees on standard operating procedures and best practices.
o Communicate production status, equipment issues, and inventory needs with management.
o Assist with inventory movements and material handling as needed.
o Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
o Maintain accurate production and quality records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or bottling environment.
o Previous experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing setting.
o Experience leading or directing production employees.
o Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve routine equipment issues.
o Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced production environment.
o Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
o Ability to communicate effectively with operators, maintenance personnel, and management.
o Beverage, brewery, winery, distillery, food, or beverage manufacturing experience.
o Forklift certification or previous forklift experience.
o Experience with automated packaging equipment.
o Experience performing equipment changeovers and line startups.
o Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general procedures or other written requirements. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, or operating procedures. Ability to design and implement management systems with appropriate guidance and training. Must have the ability to effectively communicate training and operational standards to employees through training or one on one encounters.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with limited mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical applications. Ability to convert metric to English measurement and vice-versa.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to moving equipment (trucks, forklifts, pumps), chemicals, loud noises. The employee will be expected to work in the plant, dock, and load/ unload areas within the operation to observe, evaluate, and maintain a safe and effective operation.
This role may require standing for extended periods of time, as well as lifting/moving materials.
Shifts may vary depending on productions schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
