Position Summary:
Coordinates all functions related to the credentialing, recredentialing, and onboarding of healthcare providers, and maintains provider personnel files.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Collect all pertinent information from the provider, certifying, and licensing organizations. Professional liability National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), and additional sources as necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires and clients throughout the credentialing and onboarding process.
- Track and report all credentialing and onboarding timelines, updates, and escalate issues and delays as necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure that credentialing and onboarding of healthcare providers occurs in a timely manner in accordance with industry, company, and client standards.
- Maintains accurate, complete, up-to-date, and well-organized personnel files.
- Maintains strict confidentiality on all matters pertaining to clients and providers.
