Position Overview
In this role, employees will be responsible for assisting with production and general warehouse tasks, primarily focusing on the disassembly of plastic shopping carts. You will work as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble plastic shopping carts using basic hand tools such as hammers and screwdrivers
- Safely and efficiently complete assigned production tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Assist with additional general labor duties as needed throughout the shift
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move continuously for extended periods of time
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks in a warehouse setting
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
Requirements
- Previous general labor, warehouse, or production experience preferred (not required)
- Basic experience or familiarity with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, etc.) is a plus
- Strong attendance and reliability are required
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Steel-toe shoes required for safety compliance
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
