Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and applying specialized floor care treatments to ensure safety and appearance
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, and supplies to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Follow established health and safety protocols to uphold sanitation standards and prevent hazards
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely resolution and uphold quality standards
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Support team efforts by participating in deep cleaning projects and special sanitation procedures as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning equipment and floor care methods
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service principles enhances performance in this role
- Experience with janitorial or custodial tasks in commercial or industrial settings is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
