We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on Housekeeping Director to lead our environmental services team. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Our facility is committed to providing high-quality care in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, and we are looking for a leader who shares our dedication to excellence.
Previous experience as a Housekeeping Director or Supervisor in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or healthcare setting preferred
Strong knowledge of infection control and sanitation standards
Experience managing teams and departmental budgets
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends/holidays
Oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations within the facility
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (including infection control standards)
Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and protocols
Manage, train, and mentor housekeeping staff
Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
Collaborate with nursing and leadership teams to support resident care and satisfaction
Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and waste
