Technical Project Manager – Healthcare Data Platform (Contract)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager / Senior Engineering Project Manager to support a leading healthcare enterprise client. This role will manage complex technology initiatives involving healthcare data platforms, cloud technologies, data warehousing, ETL, and analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience managing enterprise data and cloud projects while partnering with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Engineering Project Manager.
- Hands-on technical experience in Data Warehousing, Cloud, ETL project/program management - Should be able to analyze and write Code
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms and modern data architectures.
- Ability to understand technical discussions and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Experience with Jira and SmartSheets.
- Healthcare experience required, preferably with healthcare payers, claims, or clinical data platforms.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS data services and cloud-native platforms.
- Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with healthcare data governance, HIPAA, and compliance requirements.
- PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or similar certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of healthcare technology projects involving data platforms, ETL, cloud, and analytics.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, data, product, and business teams to drive successful delivery.
- Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and executive status reporting.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog reviews, and release planning.
- Support initiatives leveraging AWS cloud services and modern data architectures.
- Track project KPIs, scope, value delivery, and operational improvements.
- Present project updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
