KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Films and edits practices and games using various angles and cameras, and produces motivational, instructional, and highlight videos
2. Conducts video breakdown and analysis to assess offensive, defensive, and special teams coaching strategies of opponent and team
3. Assists in coordinating, along with the leadership, and student assistants to ensure all video, equipment, and technical needs are met for the football coaching staff
4. Sets up and shoots footage of all football games and practices, compiles highlight videos, creates videos for digital platforms, produces statistical reports, and provides technology setup for game tape review, presentations, game tape exchanges with other college and/or NFL teams, etc.
5. Assists in film breakdown of games and practice reports for coaches
6. Responsible for the maintenance of all football video and technology equipment including but not limited to, diagnosing and resolving computer problems, maintaining media servers, database servers, and cloud servers containing large quantities of data, setting up and configuring new hardware and software, etc.
7. Serves as the liaison with media equipment companies to keep technology current so as to properly maintain equipment and coordinate the purchase of new equipment
8. Keeps current on changing rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to NCAA rule changes concerning Football and video technology
9. Maintains effective relationships with the coaching staff, peers, administrators, faculty, media representatives, and the general public
10. Works to integrate sports into the whole spectrum of academic life to complement the University and its mission in the community
