Pure Filtration, LLC is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Sales Representative to help expand our presence in the Mining, Chemical, and Industrial markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys developing new business, managing customer accounts, and providing technical solutions that deliver real value.
In this role, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by identifying new opportunities, cultivating long-term customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service. Success in this position requires initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
Travel is approximately 40%, typically consisting of one week traveling within your south central territory followed by two or more weeks working from our Dover, NH office.
What You'll Do
- Sell industrial filtration systems, filter components, and related products to customers in the Mining, Chemical, and Industrial markets.
- Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for additional business.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Visit customers throughout your assigned territory to understand their operations and recommend effective filtration solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding product updates, industry trends, and new solutions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and resolve issues with a high level of customer service.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline information using CRM software.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Represent Pure Filtration professionally at customer locations.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of outside sales experience (industrial equipment or industrial filtration sales preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Proven ability to develop new business and build long-term customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable making outbound prospecting and cold calls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom.
- Additional language skills are a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% within the assigned territory.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
