Job Summary: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
A painter in our manufacturing company is responsible for preparing, powder coating, or wet spraying surface areas of fabricated products.
Essential Functions:
Clean and prepare surfaces for painting.
Prepare paint for application.
Operate hand held spray guns to apply various types of paint.
Operate portable powder coat equipment.
Apply primer and other coatings per paint specifications and blueprints.
Must be able to disassemble and re-assemble paint equipment for cleaning.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA
guidelines.
Wear the proper protective equipment as required.
Must read and understand paint specifications and blueprints to complete tasks
independently.
Prefer two (2) years of experience as an industrial painter.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing of
ladders.
Knowledge of painting methods preferred.
