Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Team Member (18 and older) and become a vital part of creating memorable experiences for our guests! We’re looking for friendly, reliable team members to join our fast‑paced, customer‑focused ice cream shop.
Duties
You won’t do all of these every shift, but these are the full range of duties team members may be assigned:
Customer Service
- Greet customers with a positive, friendly attitude
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Answer questions about flavors, toppings, and menu items
- Handle customer concerns with patience and professionalism
Ice Cream & Food Preparation
- Scoop ice cream, make sundaes, shakes, floats, and specialty items
- Prepare cones, cups, toppings, and mix‑ins
- Follow portion guidelines to ensure consistency
- Restock flavors, toppings, cones, and supplies throughout the shift
Cleaning & Shop Upkeep
- Wipe counters, sanitize surfaces, sweep/mop floors
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Take out trash and recycling
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Cash Handling
- Operate the register and POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Count change and follow proper cash‑out procedures
Teamwork & Operations
- Supervise minor employees
- Communicate with coworkers during busy rushes
- Assist with opening or closing tasks
- Restock inventory and supplies
- Follow instructions from shift leads and managers
Physical Requirements
- Standing for 4–6 hour shifts
- Reaching, bending, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs)
- Scooping ice cream (requires wrist/arm strength)
Availability
We’re especially looking for team members who can work:
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Summer and holiday rushes
- Occasional extra shifts when needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older with a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences
- Previous experience in events management, customer service, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Knowledge of food service operations and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: From $13.73 per hour
