Parts Inspector
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Parts Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on examining manufactured, machined, and assembled components to ensure absolute precision and alignment with engineering blueprints, technical dimensions, and strict quality standards.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Compensation: $19.00 / hour
- Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and Test: Use precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check part dimensions.
- Read Blueprints: Review technical drawings, work orders, and product specifications.
- Accept or Reject: Sort, tag, and isolate non-conforming or defective parts.
- Document Findings: Record inspection logs, calculate data, and write quality reports.
- Collaborate: Report issues to supervisors and work with production teams on fixes.
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
- Preferred Experience: Proven background operating a CNC mill and lathe.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to comfortably lift 35 lbs or more.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, precision measurement tool proficiency, and
Technical blueprint literacy.
