IMMEDIATE OPENING – 2-YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL TEACHER
American Eagle Academy Preschool in Tamarac is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Preschool Teacher for our 2-Year-Old Classroom. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
Pay: $16.00–$17.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time, 25–40 hours per week
Start: Immediate
Qualifications
- CDA required
- Experience working with toddlers/2-year-olds preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Dependable, patient, nurturing, and professional
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must meet Florida childcare background screening and employment requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for 2-year-old children
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain consistent classroom routines
- Supervise children carefully throughout the day
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate professionally with parents and administration
- Work cooperatively with other teachers and staff
