Responsibilities
- Provide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design process.
- Interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.
- Work closely with the broader multi-discipline team in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
- Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities.
- Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients' continually evolving requirements.
- Management of quality, scope, budget and schedule.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design.
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
- Good computer literacy.
- Ability to lead a team of Electrical Engineers.
- Experience with Data Center or AI Factory projects.
- At least 3 years of data center facility design experience.
- Experience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites.
Pay: $95,336.21 - $114,813.50 per year
