About the Opportunity
A leading law firm is seeking a Commercial Finance Associate Attorney to join its Finance & Transactions practice.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 2–6 years of commercial finance experience at a law firm who has experience drafting loan documents and managing financing transactions.
The position offers exposure to sophisticated commercial finance matters, direct client interaction, and opportunities to take on increased responsibility.
What You'll Do
- Handle commercial lending and financing transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements and related financing documents
- Manage transactions from due diligence through closing
- Assist with structuring and executing complex financing matters
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, borrowers, and other transaction participants
- Take increasing ownership of transactions and client matters
Required Qualifications
- 2–6 years of commercial finance experience at a law firm
- Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating loan and financing documents
- Experience managing commercial financing transactions
- Strong legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active bar membership in the applicable jurisdiction, or eligibility for admission
Pay: $230,000.00 - $360,000.00 per year
