Responsibilities:
- Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Know our menu inside and out to answer any guest questions
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Serve our award-winning selections to guests and respond to any requests
- Take guests' food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Mitigate complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Build a rapport with regular customers
- Create a friendly and fun atmosphere
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Process payment from customers
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
