Kid's Therapy Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide on-site speech therapy services to students in a charter school setting. This position is ideal for an SLPA who enjoys working with students and collaborating with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to support student success. Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus!
Position Details
- On-site services full-time and part-time
- Contract position
- Contract is for the duration of the 2026-27 school year
- School-based, student-focused caseload
- This is not a remote/teletherapy position
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
- Implement treatment plans and therapy activities in individual and small group settings
- Collect and document accurate data on student progress
- Assist with screenings as directed (no independent evaluations)
- Maintain compliant and timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the supervising SLP
- Adhere to all school policies and state regulations
Florida State Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an approved Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Active Florida SLPA state license
- Ability to practice under the supervision of a licensed Florida Speech-Language Pathologist
- Current background screening and clearance to work in a school setting
