Position Overview:
We are looking to hire several roles:
· First & Second Shift Machinists
· First Shift Machinist – Specifically Full-Time Lathe Machinist on Haas Lathes
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to run mills, lathes, and 5-axis experience
- Must be able to read drawings and set-up machines
- Must be able to hold tight tolerances
- We have a lot of short to medium run jobs
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail and be able to follow instructions. Must be able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment while still being able to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Needs to be self-starter with strong problem-solving skills. Must be highly adaptive and flexible. Must be a reliable team player with strong work ethic.
Hard Skills:
Must be able to read Machine Drawings, be familiar with SolidWorks or similar, understand manufacturing, shop or machining language and call outs, as well as be highly familiar with machining processes and understanding of a factory or manufacturing environment.
Machining, programming, or engineering experience a PLUS.
Work Schedule options:
FIRST SHIFT IS: Monday Thru Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm (4 x 10 Hour days, Friday off or OT)
SECOND SHIFT IS: Monday Thru Thursday, 4pm to 2:30am (4 x 10 Hour days, Friday off or OT)
*You will work at our Buellton location.
Wages & Benefits:
· Competitive Pay (Hourly)
· 1 Weeks’ Vacation to start, accrue more time the longer with company
