Under the guidance of more senior staff, such as a Project Manager or Business Analyst II - V, assists with gathering business needs and designs low to moderately complex project solutions with business and technical teams.
- Actively works to improve processes that leverage technology to be more efficient, accurate, and customer oriented.
- Gathers business requirements and translates customer needs in a systems environment, troubleshoots end-user problems and issues, and communicates solutions.
- Completes tasks to meet strategic and operational reporting needs including developing benchmarks, definitions, and metrics, while ensuring data integrity of the integrated system.
- Works closely with Information Technology (IT) professionals to determine if solutions currently exist or whether new solutions are feasible.
- Provides innovative, efficient solutions for solving internal and external system issues, problems and enhancements.
- Lead assigned projects of low to moderate complexity under general direction and resolves system issues in close collaboration with the business team and IT technical staff.
- Creates, coordinates and conducts staff and user training sessions.
- Creates, coordinates and conducts User Acceptance Testing working with Quality Assurance Team and end users to review test deliverables and acceptance criteria and assist in validating test results.
- Helps define and establish new methodologies, processes, and best practices particularly around business analysis and contributes both ideas and effort towards continuous improvement.
- Adheres to and encourages adherence from others to the Project Management processes and IT methodology processes supporting organization initiatives.
Knowledge of computers, electronics, digital media, databases, applications, software development, risk management, and information security.
Customer support, systems analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, and listening skills.
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Required Experience: 2 year’s
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
