Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen spaces, and equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with bussing tables efficiently, clearing dishes and resetting tables promptly for new guests.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, ensuring safe lifting practices are followed at all times.
- Support food service operations by serving meals and beverages with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Maintain clear internal communication with team members to coordinate service flow smoothly.
- Ensure proper table setting according to restaurant standards, including placement of utensils, glassware, and condiments.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to guarantee a hygienic environment for both staff and guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
- Experience with cleaning procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards in busy settings.
- Familiarity with bussing, serving, and table setting techniques within hospitality or food industry contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
