As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our back-of-house team, ensuring a clean, efficient, and well-organized kitchen while supporting chefs and prep staff.
Operate the industrial dishwasher and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
Hand wash glassware and implements as needed.
Follow strict sanitation and hygiene policies.
Assist prep cooks with food preparation tasks.
Clean spills, broken glass, and maintain overall kitchen safety.
Collect, store, and organize clean kitchenware.
Set up workstations prior to meal prep.
Monitor small wares and cleaning supply inventory; notify supervisor when stock is low.
Sanitize kitchen areas (floors, surfaces) and assist with occasional restroom deep cleaning.
Follow chef prep lists and recipes to complete duties accurately.
Label, stock, and organize all ingredients for easy access.
Measure ingredients precisely and prepare items (wash/chop vegetables, cut proteins, cook rice, etc.).
Assist in basic cooking tasks (soups, broths, salads, etc.).
Take out trash and maintain a clean, orderly kitchen.
Adhere to all food safety and nutrition guidelines.
Perform other tasks as directed by managers.
