Office Manager
First Baptist Oak Grove
Reporting to Senior Pastor, oversees day-to-day office operations to ensure the workplace runs efficiently, professionally, and safely. This role coordinates administrative processes, manages office resources, supports employees and leadership, and helps maintain a productive work environment.
This is a full-time, on-site, benefit eligible position working Monday through Thursday during normal business hours 32 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, as well as receive in person visitors, vendors, and church members.
· Manage office supply inventory, equipment, and vendor relationships.
· Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and support internal communications.
· Prepare, organize, and maintain records, files, invoices, and other administrative documents.
· Monitor office expenses, track budgets, and help process invoices or purchase orders.
· Support leadership with special projects, reports, and event coordination.
· Craft and distribute the monthly newsletter and weekly bulletin.
· Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality.
· Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
· 2 + years of experience in office administration, office management, or a similar role preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and/or Canva strongly preferred.
· Experience with Planningcenter or other church software preferred.
· An active member of a like-minded church is required.
