Lady Yum is looking for our next Delivery Driver to join our awesome team!
As our delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering our delicate little French macarons to our 6 King County locations each week. Deliveries are typically done by the Delivery Driver early morning 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Fridays (subject to change based on business level) . Potential for additional hours doing unscheduled deliveries, warehouse work and other maintenance items.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
- 2+ years of delivery driving experience
- Ability to drive several hours per day
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk medium distances for extended periods of time
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Working knowledge of computers and spreadsheets
- Other receiving & warehouse experience preferred
- Smart phone required for communications

Delivery Driver Job Duties:
- Open, check, adjust and print daily delivery manifest on a computer using Microsoft excel
- Pick inventory from warehouse with precision based on daily manifest
- Deliver macarons, other supplies and retail inventory from Bakery/HQ to retail stores safely and accurately
- Manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
- Ensure product is delivered in good and salable condition
- Adhere to all assigned routes and schedules
- Adhere to safety procedures and transportation laws as well as company policies and procedures
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery truck and notify manager of any issues promptly
- Keep van and associated equipment clean and in good working condition
- Manage warehouse inventory
- Organize store supply inventory
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
