Build Outdoor Spaces People Notice
The Guy Outdoor Services has been creating neighbor envy throughout Metro Detroit since 2006. We specialize in landscape renovations, paver patios, retaining walls, water features, and outdoor living spaces that transform our customers' properties.
We are looking for a Landscape Installation Apprentice to join our growing installation team. This position is ideal for someone who already has at least one year of landscaping experience and wants to continue developing their skills while working on a variety of outdoor construction and landscape projects.
Responsibilities
- Install trees, shrubs, perennials, and landscape materials
- Assist with grading, drainage, and site preparation
- Install mulch, decorative stone, and edging
- Assist with sod installation and lawn renovations
- Participate in paver patio, walkway, and retaining wall construction
- Assist with pond and waterfall installations
- Safely operate hand tools and landscape equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of landscaping experience
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation to our Warren shop
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
