The Treadmill is currently seeking a retail sales associate who is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. A successful candidate will be familiar with the various technical features and advantages of the store's products, and will be capable of demonstrating them to customers who are interested in buying our merchandise. An interest and knowledge of running/hiking is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to find out what they are looking for and guide them to the appropriate products.
- Provide good customer service by greeting customers and thanking them for shopping with the company.
- Create an atmosphere that encourages customers to return.
- Maintain knowledge of products including the location of items in the store and the latest sales information.
- Keep current records of inventories with computer software.
- Arrange merchandise in an appealing manner to maximize sales (i.e. create a “window display”).
- Handle returns and exchanges.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
