Job Summary

Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing and structural components.
- Erect metal buildings, including installing steel framing, metal studs, and siding with precision and safety.
- Construct concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structures using formwork systems.
- Install rebar reinforcement in concrete structures to ensure strength and durability.
- Perform masonry tasks such as laying bricks or blocks and applying stucco or plaster finishes as needed.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and assemble framing materials.
- Manage on-site construction activities including framing, roofing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and restoration projects.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide framing tasks; collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Assist with remodeling projects by removing old materials and installing new framing or siding components.
- Support team members with heavy lifting tasks while maintaining proper safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing, metal building erection, or concrete forming.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Skilled in various carpentry disciplines including frame carpentry, trim work, roofing, siding, masonry, and plastering.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with construction management practices and adherence to safety regulations on-site.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Valid certifications in OSHA safety standards or equivalent preferred; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
