Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical attitude and be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across various systems.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs and modifications.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Lead small teams for specific projects or tasks as required, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality of facilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a focus on electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred.
- Experience is mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic in various situations.
- Previous experience in residential painting is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when necessary.
