Elephant Head is a brand new casual upscale full service restaurant seeking energetic, hospitality-driven Servers/Bartenders to join our opening team.
We are building a restaurant focused on exceptional guest experiences, thoughtful food and beverage service, and genuine hospitality. We are looking for team members who are interested in creating memorable dining experiences and building a sense of community within and outside the walls of the restaurant and who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service
- Guide guests through food and beverage selections
- Accurately enter orders and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and bar areas
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Demonstrate strong menu knowledge and willingness to learn
- Maintain responsible alcohol service standards
- Help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests and other employees alike
Qualifications:
- Previous FOH restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment as we learn and grow as a brand new business
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must meet Virginia requirements for alcohol service
