District Manager (Convenience Stores)
Market Stores is seeking a hands-on, dependable, and highly accountable Multi-Unit Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across four convenience store locations in the San Antonio area.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems independently, holds teams accountable, and is willing to step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on operational leadership role focused on maintaining strong store performance, employee accountability, inventory management, customer experience, and consistent standards across locations.

Compensation & Benefits
- $55,000–$65,000 salary based on experience

Key Responsibilities Store Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations across four convenience store locations
- Visit stores regularly to ensure strong operational performance, cleanliness, and consistency
- Maintain store standards and ensure employees follow procedures and expectations
- Quickly identify and solve operational issues
Team Management
- Manage approximately 25 employees across multiple locations
- Create and manage employee schedules
- Address attendance issues, call-outs, and staffing shortages
- Train, coach, and hold employees accountable to performance expectations
- Participate in hiring decisions and employee performance management
Inventory & Vendor Management
- Oversee inventory ordering and maintain proper in-stock levels
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor merchandising and product availability
- Help identify opportunities to improve store sales and performance
Operations & Compliance
- Help maintain strong operational controls and store accountability
- Review store performance and operational issues when necessary
- Help identify operational risks, loss prevention concerns, and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
Emergency Operational Support
- Step in to support store operations when employees call out or operational issues arise
- Provide hands-on support when needed to keep stores running effectively
- Be available for occasional evenings and weekends as business needs require
QualificationsPreferred Experience
- Experience in convenience stores, gas stations, grocery, retail, restaurant, or multi-unit operations
- Prior leadership or operations management experience
- Experience managing employees, scheduling, ordering, and daily operations
Preferred Skills
- Strong leadership and employee accountability
- Ability to solve problems independently and make sound operational decisions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
Schedule
- Primarily Monday–Friday
- Approximately 50–55 hours per week
- Must be available to respond to operational needs and occasional weekend support
