Keep a Baytown, TX power facility running safely and reliably by owning instrumentation, controls, and electrical performance—from DCS to turbine controls, and from generators to switchgear.
- Maintain and repair plant instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems.
- Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the plant Distributed Control System (DCS) and turbine control platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve routine through complex issues on electrical and control assets.
- Plan, execute, and document work using the CMMS.
- Elevate preventive maintenance programs to meet OEM specifications and regulatory expectations.
- Preserve accurate documentation: logs, manuals, records, drawings/blueprints, and operating procedures.
- Author detailed written assessments on control system conditions.
- Model safe work practices and follow all safety and health policies.
- Act as a technical mentor; deliver on-the-job training in advanced topics.
- High School Diploma or technical/vocational degree (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in instrumentation, electrical, and control system applications.
- Applied knowledge in chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics.
- Proficiency in DCS programming and configuration.
- Advanced certifications/licensures.
- Valid state driver’s license.
