What You’re Really Responsible For
First and foremost: the guest experience.
Everything starts and ends with creating an environment where every guest feels it. But beyond that, you are the leader of the entire operation.
You will:
- Set the tone for professionalism, energy, and accountability
- Build, coach, and develop a team people want to be part of
- Drive sales through execution, marketing, and presence
- Own the numbers: labor, food cost, and profitability
- Be hands-on—visible on the floor, supporting your team, leading by example
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and oversee all daily restaurant operations
- Deliver and uphold an exceptional guest experience every shift
- Hire, train, develop, and (when necessary) hold team members accountable
- Build a bench of future leaders
- Manage schedules, labor, and staffing for optimal performance
- Drive local store marketing and community engagement
- Maintain strong food quality, consistency, and standards
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost controls
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Implement strategies to improve sales, efficiency, and culture
- Own and manage systems, technology, and reporting

What You Bring
- 5+ years of restaurant leadership experience (GM or similar role preferred)
- Strong background in guest service and team development
- Solid understanding of restaurant financials (labor, food cost, P&L)
- Experience with hiring, training, and performance management
- Familiarity with restaurant systems and technology
- Ability to lead both hourly and salaried managers
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- A passion for hospitality and building winning teams

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience customer service management
- Extensive food and wine knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
- Experience in event planning
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Good financial management skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration
