Prehistoric Putt is looking for an experienced Bartender/Server to join our team! Our one-of-a-kind entertainment venue features four 18-hole indoor miniature golf courses, a full arcade, VR Laser Tag, a full-service sports bar & grill, outdoor patio, and three private event rooms. Every day brings something different, from serving families and daily guests to hosting corporate events, birthday parties, and private celebrations.
We're seeking an energetic, customer-focused hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Position Details
- Part-Time: 15–25 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Weekend availability is required, including Saturday and Sunday.
- Must be available to work a combination of evenings and weekends. If you have day available, for potential shifts on the weekdays, is a plus, but not necessary
- Typical Shift Times
Morning Shifts
- Approximately 9:00/10:00 AM – 3:00/5:00 PM
Evening Shifts
- Approximately 3:00/4:00 PM – 9:00/11:00 PM
Shift times may vary based on business needs, special events, and seasonal hours.
Responsibilities
As a Bartender/Server, you'll play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences throughout our restaurant, sports bar, patio, and attractions.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, specialty coffee drinks, and other beverages while following company standards and Nebraska liquor laws.
- Provide exceptional table service in our restaurant, sports bar, and outdoor patio.
- Take food and beverage orders while delivering friendly, efficient service.
- Recommend menu items, cocktails, beverages, daily specials, and attractions while confidently upselling food and drinks.
- Prepare espresso, coffee, and specialty coffee beverages while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Assist with the setup, service, and cleanup of parties, corporate events, field trips, and other private events in the restaurant.
- Verify guest identification and responsibly monitor alcohol consumption, refusing service when necessary.
- Operate the point-of-sale system while accurately handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, coffee station, dining room, patio, and service areas.
- Support the Front Desk team during breaks and peak business hours by checking in guests, processing attraction admissions, assisting guests with arcade prize redemption, and answering guest questions.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and preparing work areas.
- Work closely with management and fellow team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience throughout the facility.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience (required)
- Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout an entire shift
- Must be at least 19 years of age and eligible to serve alcohol under Nebraska law
