Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
- Lead, motivate, and manage housekeeping staff, including scheduling shifts, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
- Oversee cleaning operations utilizing both standard cleaning techniques and industrial cleaning equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace safety protocols.
- Manage laundry services efficiently, including linen inventory control and proper handling of delicate fabrics.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, inventory levels, safety incidents, and staff performance for operational transparency and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Extensive experience in cleaning services within hospitality or commercial settings with a strong background in janitorial and custodial work.
- Proven staff supervision experience with excellent team management skills.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment used in large-scale cleaning operations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to chemical use, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Experience managing laundry operations and understanding of hospitality industry standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness records and inventory management.
