Job Overview:
We are seeking responsible and attentive Lifeguards to oversee the safety of all guests at our Aquapark for the Summer season! As a Lifeguard, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring a safe, fun environment for all visitors. Applicants must have or be able to obtain CPR and Lifeguard certifications prior to employment.
Responsibilities:
- Actively monitor guests in and around the Aquapark to ensure their safety at all times.
- Enforce all safety rules and park regulations consistently and professionally.
- Respond quickly and effectively to all emergencies and incidents.
- Provide basic first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Conduct daily safety checks and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in regular training and emergency drills.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with guests and answering any questions.
Qualifications:
- Must possess current CPR and Lifeguard certifications or be willing to obtain them before starting work.
- Strong swimming skills and physical endurance required.
- Ability to stay alert and focused for long periods.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm and take control in emergency situations.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Schedule:
- Part-time/full time hours, with shifts based on weather and guest attendance.
- Seasonal position, running from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
