Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our hospitality team with passion and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision.
- Oversee inventory control, food safety standards, and adherence to health regulations to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
- Supervise kitchen management, food production, and catering activities while maintaining high culinary standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective team training programs, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching.
- Handle shift management duties to ensure smooth transitions between teams while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Conduct profit and loss analysis to optimize revenue streams, control costs, and improve overall profitability.
- Implement staff hiring processes including interviewing candidates for roles such as assistant managers or team leads.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on hospitality excellence, food quality, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within quick service or fast food restaurants; experience in fine dining or casual dining is a plus.
- Strong background in food handling, food safety management, and culinary operations with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Square, Clover, ChowNow; experience with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and managing hospitality teams.
- Excellent managerial communication skills combined with the ability to train & develop staff members effectively.
- Knowledge of food industry standards including catering, banquet services, bar operations, and coffee or barista experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order processing and financial reporting.
- Hospitality management background with experience in managing kitchen operations or hotel-related food services preferred.

Who we are looking for:
— 5+ years managing a food service operation with direct P&L responsibility
— Opened at least one location from pre-open through stabilised operation
— Managed a team of 6+ people
— Available for an August 2026 start
— Delivery platform experience a strong plus
— Bilingual Spanish/English an advantage
Compensation:
— $60,000 – $65,000 base
— Performance bonus programme

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
