Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive for breakfast service, providing friendly and attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using Clover and ensure all special requests are noted and fulfilled efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, and bussing tables to keep the dining area clean and organized
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns promptly to uphold exceptional guest relations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in breakfast
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Clover or similar platforms; experience with cashiering is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting colleagues
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote menu items confidently and increase sales revenue
- Hospitality background with experience in other venues or host/hostess roles is beneficial but not required
