Overview
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in powder coating techniques and a strong attention to detail.
Duties
- Apply powder coating to various metal surfaces using airless paint spraying equipment
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure proper coating thickness and finish
- Inspect coated parts for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or rework
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for handling materials and chemicals
Required Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools for surface preparation
- Experience in materials handling to move parts safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of basic welding techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and maintenance
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principle
