Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lab Support Technician to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and handle biological samples using sterile laboratory techniques, including cell culture and microbiology procedures.
- Assist in conducting laboratory experiments following standard operating procedures (SOPs) while maintaining strict adherence to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Support quality control activities by performing routine testing, data collection, and analysis to ensure product consistency and compliance with FDA regulations.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, including detailed documentation of experiments, sample tracking, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments such as microscopes, spectrophotometers, and other specialized research tools.
- Follow laboratory safety protocols related to chemical handling, biological materials, and sterile techniques to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with research teams on molecular biology techniques, histology preparations, and microbiological assessments to support ongoing development projects.
Skills
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures including microbiology, molecular biology techniques, histology, and cell culture methods.
- Knowledge of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and laboratory compliance standards essential for manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Excellent record keeping skills with attention to detail in documenting experiments and maintaining lab logs.
- Ability to interpret data accurately using analysis skills and mathematical understanding.
- Familiarity with research setting practices including research & development protocols in a regulated environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced research or manufacturing setting.
