Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely food preparation in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
- Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency across all menu items
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff on food safety practices, cooking techniques, and customer service standards
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and compliance with local health codes
Requirements
- Proven experience in kitchen management within a quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environment with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis in a food service setting
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant management preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on team management and staff training & development
