Duties

- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary best practices
- Follow food safety protocols including sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Support food production for high-volume service periods while maintaining quality and consistency
- Execute food preparation tasks such as grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques to deliver flavorful dishes
- Ensure timely meal preparation and delivery to meet service expectations in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant cook, or catering assistant with a focus on food safety and quality assurance
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food production in high-volume environments
- Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace
- Excellent food service experience with attention to detail in presentation and taste
