Are you handy, reliable, and enjoy working outdoors? We’re looking for a Part-Time Property Maintenance & Landscaping Technician to help keep Dickinson Townhomes a safe, clean, and well-maintained community—inside and out.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and can work independently while providing excellent service to our residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine property maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repairs, and general upkeep
- Assist with apartment unit turns, clean-outs, and preparing units for new residents
- Complete landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, pruning, and seasonal cleanup
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas, including hallways, laundry rooms, grounds, and parking areas
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
- Inspect property grounds and buildings and report larger repair needs to management
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain the property’s condition and appearance
Requirements:
- Previous property maintenance and/or landscaping experience required
- Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and hand/power tools
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable, professional, and able to interact positively with residents
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Schedule & Benefits:
- Part-time position: approximately 25 hours per week
- Schedule: 5 days per week
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required
- Sick leave benefits available after 90 days
