Job Title: Behavioral Health Program Operations Coordinator

Basic Function
hands-on role responsible for coordinating the daily operations with co-workers, maintaining and providing services to a caseload of individuals. Additionally, this person will participate in and facilitate community engagement activities of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Education Program (PREP). The role combines program supervision, event and facility coordination, administrative oversight, and community relationship management.
This role is critical to maintaining operational consistency, staff support, and community visibility for Hedwig House. The Behavioral Health Program Operations Coordinator acts as a bridge between frontline programming and organizational leadership, ensuring that logistics, staffing, partnerships, and member services align with agency goals and funding requirements.
Responsibilities
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Provide onsite support and supervision to PREP staff
- Provide direct services to a caseload of persons receiving services
- Coordinate calendars, transportation, facilities, volunteers, and events
- Support community service projects and legislative/community engagement
- Oversee operational tracking, budget support, receipts, and program organization
- Assist with social media visibility and community outreach efforts
- Collaborate with leadership to meet program and grant-related goals

The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing operational management with direct member and staff interaction. They should demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills while maintaining a recovery-oriented approach to behavioral health services. Candidates with backgrounds in mental health, human services, organizational leadership, event coordination, or community engagement are well suited for this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Supervisory and administrative experience preferred
- Understanding of behavioral health and recovery-oriented services
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
