We are looking for a Customer Service & Client Relations Specialist to join our team onsite at our Jeffersontown facility. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Customer Service & Client Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for our company, delivering exceptional support and building strong relationships with clients across diverse markets. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities will drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.
In this role, you’ll serve as the connection between our production team and a diverse base of domestic and international clients. Responsibilities include managing detailed orders, coordinating international payments and logistics, tracking production timelines, and working directly with the lab floor to resolve urgent customer needs in real time.
This position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, enjoys problem-solving where customer service and operations work hand in hand.
Responsibilities
- International Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our global clients, guiding them through specialized order placement and overseas shipping updates working in conjunction with our onsite shipping manager.
- Onsite Production Tracking: Walk the lab floor to locate delayed jobs, collaborate directly with our skilled lab technicians, and provide accurate, realistic status updates to clients.
- Traditional Support: Answer inbound phone calls and emails from local and global opticians, optometrists, and partnering optical labs regarding lens specifications, pricing, and order status.
- Billing & Payments: Efficiently handle international invoicing inquiries, account reconciliation, wire transfers, and credit card payments.
- Problem Resolution: Confidently address customer issues or order modifications to turn stressful situations into positive client experiences.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, client relations, or international account support and/or a college graduate.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on active listening and clear articulation
- Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions
- High level of professionalism, patience, and problem-solving aptitude
