Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs and observing for changes in condition or behavior
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of resident spaces
- Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s or dementia by implementing specialized care techniques
- Use equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges
- Document care activities accurately, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Engage in patient monitoring to detect early signs of health issues or distress and respond promptly
- Provide compassionate social support, encouraging engagement in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, home & community care, nursing home, or long-term care environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior
- Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory impairments highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in patient transfers and mobility assistance
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide high-quality patient care and support independence

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
