The Morton Center is seeking a professional, reliable Front Office Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors in our outpatient behavioral health setting.
This role is critical to creating a welcoming, respectful, and organized environment for individuals seeking substance use and mental health services. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
- Answer and route incoming calls
- Schedule and confirm appointments using an electronic health record
- Assist with client check-in and paperwork
- Maintain front office organization and supplies
- Protect client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
- Communicate effectively with clinical, intake, and leadership teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of customer service or administrative experience
- Experience in healthcare, counseling, or behavioral health preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-centered environment
- Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, scheduling systems, EHRs)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
