Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community to promote a collaborative environment.
- Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children to learn and play.
Qualifications
- Higher education teaching experience is preferred.
- Background in education administration with proven leadership capabilities.
- Degree in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable.
- Strong teaching skills with a focus on child-centered learning approaches.
- Experience working with students in various educational settings is essential.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff members.
