We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential environments are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks to create a welcoming, safe, and pristine space for residents, guests, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of living or guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care procedures to ensure a spotless appearance
- Assist with laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces and maintaining hygiene protocols in accordance with health regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
- Manage housekeeping supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold high standards of cleanliness
Qualifications
- Experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy items, and operating cleaning equipment safely
- Experience with laundry operations and janitorial responsibilities is preferred
- Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or protocols is a plus
- Prior experience in hotel settings or with specific skills such as cooking or advanced floor care will be considered advantageous
