Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications according to physician orders and facility policies
- Accurately document medication administration
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition
- Maintain medication carts and supplies in a clean and organized manner
- Follow all infection-control, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and other team members
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Texas Certified Medication Aide certification
- Current CNA certification, as required by the State of Texas
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to successfully complete all required background and employment screenings
