Full Time position, every other weekend.
Our organization is looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in geriatrics and be able to manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing patient care, providing guidance and support to staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes.
- Develop policies and procedures for the nursing staff.
- Participate in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new staff members.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff members.
- Provide education to patients, families, and other healthcare providers on geriatric health topics.
