Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable processes, the estimate is received, contracts are drawn up and signed, invoices are created, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise in Quickbooks Online, client communication, and financial analysis will be vital in supporting our organization’s revenue cycle management and financial health. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation using QuickBooks Online.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts through professional client communication to facilitate prompt collections.
- Perform detailed analysis of account data and track jobs and customers throughout the workflow.
- Work closely with the Estimation Department and Foremen.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger entries monthly, quarterly, and annually to ensure accuracy in debits & credits.
- Maintain meticulous records of all collections activities, account analysis reports, and correspondence with clients or vendors.
- Ongoing training in QBO and with our Accountants as needed.
- Work as a TEAM, continue growing and learning.
- Must work in house and share office space.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on contracts, accounts receivable management, collections account management, or related fields.
- Experience in a construction business or industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with phone etiquette proficiency for client communication and negotiation efforts.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, account analysis, and bookkeeping tasks; proficiency in 10 key typing is beneficial.
